What a tremendous turnout at last night’s United Against Hate Candlelight Vigil at the Mid-Island Y JCC in Plainview. Thank you to Rabbi Hecht of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Interfaith Clergy Council for coordinating this amazing event, and thank you to the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct for providing security; and thank you to Legislator Arnie Drucker for helping to organize the event.
Thank you also to our partners in prayers and our leaders in government, and to the hundreds of residents who braved the cold to stand together against hate. #unitedwestand
