– OYSTER BAY ONLY TOWN ON LONG ISLAND FAILING TO FILE CRITICAL FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS WITH STATE COMPTROLLER –

“The town of Oyster Bay is the only town on Long Island that failed to file its annual financial report this year with NYS Comptroller DiNapoli’s office, in order to determine the fiscal stress of a municipality. “

OYSTER BAY (September 29, 2017) –
“Joe Saladino failed to file an important Town financial report this year with the state, which would determine the fiscal stress of the Town, because he would like to hide that fact that Oyster Bay is beyond fiscally stressed – it’s fiscally paralyzed and in a coma!” said Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor candidate Dr. Marc Herman.
“Skyrocketing taxes, a junk bond credit rating, and record high debt – and all this happening in the background of a SEC investigation that the Town has spent millions of taxpayer money so far trying to fight – is beyond pathetic. If anything, Oyster Bay has become the standard-bearer on incompetence and corruption throughout the entire state. We welcome the state comptroller into our Town.”
